2020 VCE Yiddish Report
3 students completed VCE Yiddish Units 1/2 and 15 students completed VCE Yiddish Units 3/4 in 2020. Lessons were held weekly and were 3 hours in length. The students also attended intensive sessions prior to the VCE Yiddish Units 3/4 exams and attended the annual Yidish Sof-Vokh Oystralye retreat, which was held online this year.
The table above demonstrates the Units 3/4 scores for 2020.

The 2020 VCE Units 3/4 class consisted of 14 adult students and 1 high school student. This high school student continued on to their further high school studies at their home school following completion of VCE Yiddish Units 3/4.

We were pleased to see one of our students receive a top raw study score of 47. This is a particularly impressive result considering the impact the global pandemic had on the studies of VCE students across the state.

All of our Units 1/2 students completed their units satisfactorily.
